Save Your Time

Set it once. The apps stay closed.

Save Your Time blocks the apps and websites you choose: on a schedule, for a focus session, or after a few short opens a day. It keeps working when the app is closed.

Blocked by Work Time

until 17:00

10:40now

Work Time 09:00–17:00, weekdaysSleep 22:00–06:00, every day

Three ways to block

  • 09:00–17:00

    On a schedule

Choose the days and the hours. Work Time can run on weekdays from nine to five, and a Sleep rule can run across midnight.

  • 1:30:00

    For a focus session

Pick a length and hold to start. The apps stay closed until the timer ends, even if you leave the screen.

  • 3 × 5 min

    A few opens a day

The apps stay closed, and each day you get a set number of short opens from the block screen. When they’re used up, that’s it until tomorrow.

When you do need the app

Unblock, after a pause

The block screen offers an unblock. You wait a few seconds, choose between 1 and 30 minutes, and the app opens. When the time is up it closes again by itself, even if you’re still in it. If you like, the wait grows with each unblock in a day.

Strict, when you mean it

With strict mode on, a running rule can’t be unblocked, paused, edited or deleted. The block screen shows when it ends, and it always ends within 24 hours.

What stays on your phone

We never see which apps or websites you block, what you name your rules, or how you use your phone.

iOS hands the app sealed references to the apps you pick, not their names. What leaves the phone is an anonymous install ID, your trial and subscription status, crash reports, and anonymous product events that you can turn off. The privacy policy lists every service and what it receives.

One price, everything included

€4.99a month

Or €39.99 a year. The first 7 days are free and need no card; they start when you set up your first rule, not when you install. No tiers, no ads, no add-ons.

Questions

Does it work when the app is closed?

Yes. Blocking is done by iOS Screen Time, so rules start and end on time, and an unblocked app closes again when its minutes are up, without Save Your Time running. That includes after a restart.

Does blocking an app block its website too?

No, an app and its website are separate. After you pick apps, Save Your Time suggests the matching websites to add, so the browser doesn’t become the way around.

Can I get around a block?

With an unblock, yes: after a short wait you choose how many minutes you need. With strict mode, no, until the rule ends. iOS always lets the phone’s owner turn off Screen Time access in Settings; if that happens, the app says plainly that nothing is being blocked.

Do I need an account?

No. There’s nothing to sign up for, and your rules stay on your phone.

What happens when the free week ends?

Rules stop starting new blocks until you subscribe. Anything already running finishes as planned, and you can still unblock, pause or delete.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, with iOS 18 or later. It is for your own phone; it isn’t a parental control.
